For individuals with substantial assets and income
Financial Requirements
At least $1,000,000 USD in assets
Personal income of minimum $80,000 USD per year in the past 2 years
Investment of at least $500,000 USD in Thai government bonds, foreign direct investment, or Thai property
Wealthy Pensioners
For retirees aged 50 and above with stable pension or income
Financial Requirements
Personal income of at least $80,000 USD per year at time of application
OR income between $40,000-$80,000 USD per year + investment of $250,000 USD in Thai government bonds, foreign direct investment, or Thai property
Must be aged 50 years or above
Work-from-Thailand Professionals
For remote workers employed by well-established overseas companies
Requirements
Personal income of minimum $80,000 USD per year in past 2 years
OR income between $40,000-$80,000 USD + Master's degree or above, intellectual property ownership, or Series A funding
Current employer must be public company on stock exchange OR private company operating 3+ years with $150M+ USD combined revenue in last 3 years
At least 5 years work experience in relevant fields over past 10 years
Highly-Skilled Professionals
For experts in targeted industries working for Thai businesses, educational institutions, or government agencies
Requirements
Personal income of minimum $80,000 USD per year in past 2 years
OR income between $40,000-$80,000 USD + Master's degree in science/technology or special expertise relevant to job
No minimum income for Thai government agency workers
Employer must be business in targeted industries, higher education institution, research institution, or Thai government agency
At least 5 years work experience in targeted industries (except PhD holders or Thai government workers)
Dependents
For spouses and children under 20 years old of LTR visa holders
Requirements
Maximum of 4 dependents per LTR visa holder
Must be spouse or child under 20 years old
Main LTR holder must maintain valid status
Proof of relationship required (marriage certificate, birth certificate, etc.)
