Digital work permit arrived. 3,000 baht for the year. The four-Thai-employees rule was not applied. HR cared about that exemption more than the photograph. Visa first. Permit second. People are saying they are the same thing.

AbeY #69C4Email was verified

I will send headquarters two steps. They keep writing that the visa is the permission to work. I will correct the sentence.

4
Kenji #4316Email was verified

Correct it. Do not let that sentence leave the building.

2
Martin #22E1Email was verified

This permit is not my case. If I ever qualify for Work-from-Thailand, the job stays with the foreign company. No Thai client. I write it here so I do not forget my own limit.

Stamped. Chamchuri. This morning. Highly-Skilled. Passport says five years, not ten. Multiple entry. Fee 50,000 baht. The poster can keep the ten. The stamp does not have it.

21
Nige #FC2AEmail was verified

Five years was available to anyone who read past the headline. Congratulations, narrowly. Was the airport lane real, or another sentence?

3
Jonas #0BA3Email was verified

Suvarnabhumi. The lane is real. The officer knew the stamp. I did not perform it.

4
Kenji #4316Email was verified

A colleague collected the same week. They counted blank pages. Bring more than one.

5
Linh T. #5491Email was verified

Sorry if this is basic. My husband will apply. I want to come with him. Our son is 6. Is there a limit on the family? And can I work, or is that a different paper?

Ruth A. #C768Email was verified

Read the Interior notice of 25 May 2022, not a graphic from Facebook. Lawful spouse and lawful children under 20. Not more than four in total. The dependent stay does not include work. A spouse may apply for permission. That application is separate.

8
Linh T. #5491Email was verified

Four total, including him. We are three. I will not ask the graphic again. Thank you.

2
Sandra V. #921EEmail was verified

We did spouse plus one. The school was a whole other pile. Visa people never asked which school. The school asked about the visa every morning. Get the visa moving, then tell the school the truth about dates.

Insurance, before I buy a second policy just to decorate a form. Is it 50,000 US dollars of cover in Thailand, or do they want a Thai insurer on the letterhead? I've already got cover. I'd like to keep the one I understand.

5
Kruger #EDBDEmail was verified

My husband's foreign policy was accepted. They looked for the Thailand inpatient figure and the end date. The logo was not the fight.

4
Anonymous #DE92Email was verified

I bought a Thai policy because the Irish one read like a riddle they meant to win. More money. Fewer emails. I miss the money. I do not miss the emails.

Right. I've done the O-A. The 800,000 baht sitting there looking at me. The insurance renewal. The 90-day report I always nearly forget until the dog's walk. I am 61. My pension is not 80,000 dollars. I can do the arithmetic. I still want a person to say, out loud, whether Wealthy Pensioner is for me or whether I should sit down.

9
Walter B. #2975Email was verified

Sit down. I'm in the same kitchen. The extension is a pain and it's a pain I already know how to have. LTR pensioner wants passive income I don't have. Nothing wrong with keeping the devil you've met.

6
Diane P. #BCADEmail was verified

Then I'll stay. He's met the dog. That counts for something in this house, if not at the BOI.

2
Ruth A. #C768Email was verified

The categories are not a menu of inconveniences. If the passive income is not there, Wealthy Pensioner is not available. The O-A remains a separate visa with its own rules. I would not pay a fee to anyone offering to make a file 'fit'.

7
AbeY #69C4Email was verified

Question from our Bangkok entity. Highly-Skilled candidate. Time in the role: 4 years and 6 months. The rule says five years within the last ten. Do they accept 'almost'?

7
Kenji #4316Email was verified

No. Months are months. HR wrote 'equivalent' for someone here. It was not read.

8
AbeY #69C4Email was verified

I will tell them to wait until month 60. I will not send the equivalent letter.

2
Linh T. #5491Email was verified

Sorry, may I ask as well. Does a master's degree replace the years? I have the degree. I do not have five years.

1
Noah #A1B7Email was verified

Please slow down on the 17 percent. That rate belongs to Highly-Skilled Professionals, on Thai employment income, under conditions. It is not a personal tax regime you unlock by holding a visa. Overseas income is a different question. 'Different' is carrying a great deal of weight in that sentence.

16
FM #568BEmail was verified

Then the ads are sloppy. I was told 17 percent, full stop, by a man who wants a fee. I will use your version until a Revenue ruling is in my hand.

4
Noah #A1B7Email was verified

Use a ruling, or a person who reads them for work. Not a thread. I am in the thread, and I am telling you not to cite it.

5
Jonas #0BA3Email was verified

Noted. Not filing on a percentage from a poster.

3

The 17 percent rate applies to Highly-Skilled employment in Thailand, on the conditions set for that income. It is not a general tax status for every LTR holder. Overseas income is a Revenue Department question. This page does not answer it.

6
Martin #22E1Email was verified

Work-from-Thailand. I read 150 million dollars. Revenue. Three years. My company is real. It is not this number. So the visa is not for a normal employer. It is for a huge one. I understand. I do not like it.

8
Bex #B8D6Email was verified

yeah that was a slap. i'm a contractor so i don't even reach the revenue line. no employer letter, no ltr. the elite people in this hostel are being weirdly gentle about it.

5
Martin #22E1Email was verified

The hostel is not the BOI. But yes. A contractor is a different no from a small company. Both are a no.

2
AbeY #69C4Email was verified

Tokyo headquarters asked me to check. We are listed. A listed company does not use the 150 million test. A private company does. I sent them that sentence and nothing else.

6
FM #568BEmail was verified

WGC. Two agents, two stacks. I need the real one. USD 1 million assets. USD 500,000 already in Thailand. USD 80,000 income. Health cover on top. Remove any one and I do not open the portal.

14
HQ #A4B1Email was verified

That is the June announcement, and the 500 sits inside the 1 million. It is not 500 plus a new million. An agent who adds them is selling half a million of panic.

8
FM #568BEmail was verified

One of them added. He is off this.

3
Helga V. #7857Email was verified

Por. 2/2565, 30 June 2022. Wealthy Global Citizen has three tests, not two. The income line stays. A person who calls it optional is reading a wish.

Anonymous #0EFCEmail was verified

Income: still in. Had a guy say assets were enough. They are not. Not this year.

4

site is dead again. not slow. the login button goes nowhere and then the tab just gives up. i copied the pdf into a google doc because the pdf 404'd twice. cool launch for a millionaire visa.

Dead from Cork as well, so don't you go buying a new router. Nobody to ring. I made tea. The tea is gone. The spinner is not.

4

For me it loaded at 23:40. I uploaded nothing. I was afraid. The session died when I clicked next. I try Sunday. Sunday is quiet, maybe.

Run the price before the philosophy. Elite, top of the card, was a million baht and up depending on the year. LTR, if you qualify, is being quoted at 50,000 baht to the government. The expensive part of LTR is proving you already have the money. The expensive part of Elite is handing it over.

11
Nige #FC2AEmail was verified

You have described the invoice. You have not described the immigration queue, the airport, or what happens when a privilege membership is not renewed. I did not buy Elite because the brochure was shorter.

4
Anonymous #0EFCEmail was verified

A lane is a lane. I'm talking about who the thing is priced for. Not the same customer. That's the point.

2
Walter B. #2975Email was verified

50,000 baht I understand. A million dollars in the shape they want, I don't have. So I stay the retirement-extension guy. Fine by me. The fish don't care.

3
Sandra V. #921EEmail was verified

Shame to watch it turn into a shop argument. If you don't meet a category, it isn't a worse Elite. It's just not your visa. No drama in either direction.

5
Walter B. #2975Email was verified

They opened LTR applications this morning. 1 September. I'm 68, retirement extension down in Hua Hin, and I can't tell yet if this is for me or for people with a family office. Poster says ten years. Form wants a million dollars and money already sitting in Thailand. That ain't my old visa with a new hat.

24
Diane P. #BCADEmail was verified

Has anyone actually got in?? I've been clicking since 7 and it spins, then it apologises, then it spins again. Neighbour (Elite, will not stop telling you) says pay them and skip the homework. I have a pension and a dog. I do not have Elite money.

6
Walter B. #2975Email was verified

Dog doesn't count. I checked, not really, but I checked. Pension might, if it's big, and mine isn't. Neighbour can keep his membership card.

3
Nige #FC2AEmail was verified

I have held Elite since 2016. I am not exchanging it for a website that will not load. LTR asks you to prove income, assets, and a Thai investment before anyone looks at you. Elite asked for a transfer. These are not cousins.

8
Peter #2E59Email was verified

Elite's cheque was the straightforward bit. This is a portal and a press conference.

5

Applications opened on 1 September 2022 through the BOI. The categories are Wealthy Global Citizen, Wealthy Pensioner, Work-from-Thailand Professional, and Highly-Skilled Professional. Qualifications are in the BOI announcement of 30 June 2022. The test on this website is not the application.

4
HQ #A4B1Email was verified

I wrote the public conditions down so I would stop rereading the poster. 1) Wealthy Global Citizen: assets, Thai investment, and income. All three. 2) Pensioner: age 50 or older, passive income. 3) Remote work: the foreign company has to be large. 4) A job inside Thailand, in a targeted field. Four doors. Not one door with four nicknames.
